How do I post an AD?
Register to Use the Site First and then from the User's Tools on the Left of the screen, click on Place an Ad and follow the instructions. All of your instructions to manage your ad are under User's Tools. When you need to update your ad, just click on edit/delete and log-in with your email address and password and make any changes. Be sure to click the update at the bottom of your ad. When placing an ad, be sure to not include a comma in your price nor in your mileage. If your photos are very large in pixels, please resize them. If they are over 2,000 pixels X 1500 pixels, they must be resized. Try loading one at a time instead of all of them at one time. A good size for loading are 640X480 or any size under 1200 pixels. Your IP might not let you send such a large file at one time. If you cannot get them loaded, please forward them to the administrator@motorhomesused.com for loading.

What do I do if I have problems signing in after I have registered?
You might have cookies blocked in your privacy settings. If you go under Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced and this is where the options are located. You will need to enable cookies.

I have entered my ad data and I proceed to payment but when do I post my pictures?
After you have paid by credit card you will be taken to the screen to post your pictures. You will be able to log-in at any time and make any additional changes to your ad.

How do I contact seller and where?
The contact seller info is located at the bottom of each ad. Just click on "reply to ad" to send a message. If the seller wishes to be contacted by his phone number, it will be listed with the contact information or in the information located with the description of the ad.

After I register, how do I place my ad?
Just sign in using your email address and password, then click on "place your ad" from the User Tools at the left.

Where do I check on SCAM email addresses?
Internet scams have been going on for years but not everyone knows about them. We are currently reporting all email addresses under Help and black listing them from the site. Spring is usually the time of the year for Scammers to try a SCAM but we are monitoring all emails to be able to get them listed as soon as possible. Latest email addresses are listed below.

* Phony cashier's checks - verify authenticity with the issuing bank.
* Any escrow service that implies an affiliation with MotorhomesUsed.com.
* Overseas buyers or buyers willing to buy your car sight-unseen.
* Offers to pay substantially more than your asking price.
* Inability to speak with a buyer by phone or to verify a street address.
* ZIP codes and addresses that don't match up.
* Emails or websites that ask for "confirmation" of your social security number or
other sensitive information.
* Emails that mention MotorhomesUsed.com warehousing, shipping or sweepstakes.(We
don't offer warehousing or shipping services, and we're not currently running any
sweepstakes.)

Report fraudulent activity immediately by filing a report with the Internet Fraud
Complaint Center at http://www.ifccfbi.gov.

What should I do if I cannot load my pictures to my ad?
If you know how to resize, please resize them. If they are over 2,000 pixels X 1500 pixels, they must be resized and a good size for loading is 640 X 480. Try loading one at a time instead of all of them at one time. Your IP might not let you send such a large file at one time. If you cannot get them loaded, please forward them to the administrator@motorhomesused.com for loading.

What do I do if I am on dial-up and I receive a warning after I had tried to post my ad?
With a lot of dial-ups that are quite busy at certain times of the day, it would be best to post your ad early in the morning or late in the evening hours. You can get bumped off of your dial-up while you are entering your data and not realize it until you have finished your ad.

If I check "Display Contact Info" in my registration, will my email address be hidden from viewers?
Yes, your email address will not be displayed. If you would like your email address to be seen you will have to include it in the description area of your listing.

How do I update my Ad?
Please log-in and proceed to Edit/Delete your ad. Please make your changes and you must click on "Update My Ad" at the bottom of the ad before your changes will take place.

When I enter an incorrect credit card information, what do I do?
Please use your back button on your browser and go back to your ad. Go to the bottom of the page and click on "Preview My Ad". On the next page go to the bottom of the page and click on "Procede to Payment" and enter your correct credit card information.

I want to know if you accept a certified cheque or money order drawn from a US bank for the payment of the Rv.if that is okay by you,then get back to me as soon as possible because is needed urgently.

You can sidestep would-be scammers by following these common-sense rules:

a.. DEAL LOCALLY WITH FOLKS YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON - follow this one simple rule
and you will avoid 99% of the scam attempts on motorhomesused.
b.. NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other wire service -
anyone who asks you to do so is a scammer.
c.. FAKE CASHIER CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS ARE COMMON, and BANKS WILL CASH THEM AND
THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE when the fake is discovered weeks later.
d.. Motorhomes used IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TRANSACTION, and does not handle
payments,
guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or
"seller certification"
e.. NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, social security
number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.)
f.. AVOID DEALS INVOLVING SHIPPING OR ESCROW SERVICES and know that ONLY A
SCAMMER WILL "GUARANTEE" YOUR TRANSACTION
